The New York City Metropolitan Area Gem Show, or "NYC Gem Show" for short, features fine minerals, exquisite fossils, real dinosaurs, meteorites, gems, jewelry, gold, silver, turquoise, opals, petrified wood, and much, much more in the 65,000 sq. ft. Meadowlands Exposition Center -- and everything is for sale! We are located in Secaucus New Jersey in the Harmon Meadow Complex, just four miles from New York City via the Lincoln Tunnel.

Our May 2012 show featured five dinosaur skeletons from Triebold Paleontology as well as a juvenile Tyrannosaurus which fetched more than $1 million at Heritage Auctions in their New York City auction just one week later.

In addition, the upscale 'Fine Mineral & Gem Gallery' (a "show within a show") features investor-grade minerals & gems from the world's finest dealers. For 2013 we are making space for 20 more of these top dealers which will draw even more advanced collectors from further away.

The theme for the 2013 show will be "Fossils & Minerals of NY & NJ". Both the Franklin Mineral Museum and the Sterling Hill Mining Museum will participate with 60 feet of showcases filled with fluorescent and visible light minerals, to include a dedicated black-light room. Another 60 feet of cases will feature the best specimens by notable collectors and local clubs. And possible participation by the magnificent American Museum of Natural History is in the discussion stage. What better way to celebrate the rocks and minerals of this region?
